Sustainable garden knows no boundary.
Most of us living in the city always has one dilemma when it comes to gardening, which is “Space” and is apparent to those who lives in high-rise building.
Don’t let that hinder your passion for gardening as it turns out that you can grow your own garden even with limited space. There are a lot of plants that can grow and thrive in small spaces with minimal to no amount of soil.
All it takes is for you to know what type of plants that you want and a little help from us to make it happen.
The Brief
The request came from our client during the Malaysia MCO (Movement Control Order) in April 2020 where she would like us to help design and build an “Edible Garden” at her condominium balcony. During that time, buying essential foods is difficult which led to our client request.
We take into account the type of edible plants that is suitable to be planted at her balcony where its harvest is commonly consumed. We also take account of the space available and how much sunlight the balcony is exposed to which helps to determine the overall design of the “Edible Garden”. We then prepare a detailed written proposal and quotation to meet her requirements and budget.
What Kind of Plants Did We Use For This Garden ?
- capsicum frutescens linn (cili padi)
- x citrofortunella microcarpa (limau kasturi)
- pandanus amaryllifolius (pandan)
- centella asiatica (pegaga)
- eryngium foetidum (ketumbar jawa)
- Murraya koenigii (kari)
- Persicaria odorata (kesum)
- Curcuma longa (kunyit)
