The book is written and published by Pn.Jamaliah Bt Hamdan who is the managing director of Serigreen Garden & Landscape Sdn Bhd. Her love and fondness for nature, plants and Malaysia is what gave her the idea to publish “My Green Sanctuary. The book contains a collection of over 700 photos of lush green spaces that enhance the comfort of 30 personal and private homes, historic natural treasures of public parks and natural attractions. The inspiration behind the creation of this coffee table book is when Pn.Jamaliah realize that there are limited coverage and recognition towards the beautiful garden landscapes in Malaysia. Thus, this book is published as an appreciation towards the beautiful landscape in Malaysia and the author hopes to spread the love of preserving and even inspire others to create their own green sanctuary wherever they are.

One of the garden in the hospitality section worth mentioning is at St Regis Langkawi, where the garden was designed by Bill Bensley, a renowned landscape architect and a revolutionary luxury resort designer.
The book also includes an exclusive look into the private gardens of selected garden landscape enthusiasts such as YABhg Tun Jeanne Abdullah, Dato Dr Redzuawan Ismail (Chef Wan) and much more.
One of the private garden worth mentioning is the Villa Sangturi Garden of Bliss which is situated at Hulu Langat Batu 18. This stunning garden is the masterpiece of Lim In Chong (aslo known as Inch Lim) one of Malaysia’s most celebrated landscape designer who had won various awards internationally. Most recently, Inch Lim won a Gold Award in the world landscape competition held in Japan and also in Singapore. The Garden of Bliss which is featured as this book cover is owned and maintained by Serigreen Garden and Landscape Sdn Bhd.
